This artwork named CONCRETE EXPANSION has been created in close collaboration
between Thomas CANTO , the developer and architect team all along the process in order that the sculpture
interacts perfectly with the structure of the building.
The structure gives a feeling of development, expansion to the viewer and makes the building alive.
These effects directly refer to the characteristic optical art part of Thomas Canto works.
At the same time, it refers to Brutalism architecture, magnifying the raw concrete material used for the construction
of this structure.
This permanent artwork can be seen at the Hermione building.
It’s made of painted steel and its dimensions are 10 x 6 x 5 meters.
